Currently, our Enterprise IT unit is looking for an:
IT Security Specialist (M/F)
who is passionate about building and automating solutions to prevent growing types of cyberattacks. You will engineer defenses for critical information and computer networks. You will build and maintain dashboards and reports of Cyber Security “health” on a daily basis. You will take appropriate measures to keep the business and platforms protected.
Location: Zagreb
Key Responsibilities:
- Secure network and cloud infrastructure
- Safeguard information system assets, as well as identify and solve security problems
- Define access privileges
- Identify breaches and report non-conformities
- Promptly react to reported events and incidents
- Implement security improvements, evaluate new trends in security and respective technologies, suggest future needs and requirements
- Report security violations and vulnerabilities through regular vulnerability assessments
- Upgrade ICT systems implementing and maintaining security controls
- Report system status to management
- Keep up with technical knowledge
Required qualifications:
- University Degree in the ICT field
- At least one security related certificate (CEH, Security+,CISSP, SANS, etc.)
- Able to understand and analyze complex issues and identify root cause
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
The following would be considered a plus:
- 2+ years of experience in security operations
- Knowledge of Security standards: ISO27001, NIST, OWASP
- Experience with systems typically used in a Security Operation Centre: logging, SIEM, EDR, IDS
- Experience with Vulnerability Assessment tool(s)
- Experience with monitoring systems
- Knowledge of open-source technologies
