Our Enterprise IT unit is currently seeking a Network Security Specialist, who will be responsible for protecting and continuously improving the security of enterprise network infrastructure. This role requires a hands-on, analytical mindset and the ability to independently investigate complex network security issues. You will work close to day-to-day operations, not only maintaining controls, but actively analyzing traffic, identifying weaknesses and driving concrete improvements.

What you’ll be doing:
- Design, implement and operate network security controls across enterprise environments
- Perform analysis of network security events, anomalies and incidents
- Investigate suspicious network behavior and traffic patterns across multiple data sources
- Monitor and analyze logs from firewalls, IDS/IPS, network monitoring and related systems
- Identify root causes of security issues and propose corrective and preventive actions
- Continuously assess effectiveness of existing network security controls
- Develop, update and maintain technical documentation and operating procedures
- Proactively identify gaps, weaknesses and opportunities for improvement in network security
- Provide expert input for security design decisions and new initiatives
We are looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in network security or closely related roles
- University degree in ICT or a related field
- Has strong hands-on experience in network security operations
- Communicates findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences

Strong understanding of:
- Enterprise networking (routing, switching, segmentation, VPNs)
- Firewall architectures and security policy design
- Network security protocols and traffic analysis

Hands-on experience with:
- Firewalls and perimeter security
- IDS/IPS and anomaly detection systems
- Network monitoring and logging tools
- Solid understanding of Linux/UNIX and Windows environments
- Ability to continuously evaluate security posture and drive improvements
Would be considered a plus:
- Experience in incident response or SOC environments
- Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP)
- Experience with large enterprise or hybrid environments
- Familiarity with advanced network security concepts (zero trust, microsegmentation)
- Vendor‑specific experience (e.g. Palo Alto, Cisco, F5, VMware NSX or similar)

Certifications (preferred, not mandatory):
- CCNP Security or equivalent
- PCNSE
- VMware NSX
- Other relevant network or security certifications
