We’re looking for a Database Developer to join our team and work with modern technologies like Java, Angular, Spring, Docker, Kubernetes, and Oracle Database to build solutions that matter. Our projects include AI, AR/VR, big data, microservices, GIS, and ESB, powering large-scale national initiatives and complex IT systems that improve the quality of life for citizens.

Location: Zagreb, Osijek, Split

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing, developing, and optimizing Oracle database schemas, tables, views, and indexes
  • Creating, maintaining, and optimizing PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers
  • Ensuring data integrity, security, and performance across all database environments
  • Performing database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborating with application developers to implement efficient data access layers
  • Participating in database architecture planning, including normalization and data modeling
  • Developing automation scripts for routine maintenance and operational tasks
  • Monitoring production databases and resolving incidents related to performance, errors, or data issues
  • Preparing technical documentation and ensuring compliance with organizational standards

We are looking for:

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Databases, and Oracle PL/SQL
  • Responsibility and a strong desire to learn state-of-the-art Oracle technologies and DBD practices
  • Firm determination and dedication to continuous learning and professional development
  • Desire to share achievements and knowledge in order to help others and respond to their needs

Would be considered a plus:

  • Knowledge and experience with additional Databases e.g. Postgres, DB2, Microsoft SQL Server etc., and respective SQL and PL SQL
  • Bash/Sh scripting
  • Python scripting
  • Familiarity with Docker, Java environments
