We are currently seeking an Assistant for a temporary position on an initial 1-year contract (maternity leave replacement). The role will report to our Site Manager and help ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations at our site, with the potential for contract extension.
Location: Osijek
What you’ll be doing:
- Event & Meeting Coordination – Organize unit meetings (leadership, all-employee), support Marketing/HR with company events, and prepare facilities for scheduled activities.
- Employee Support & Onboarding – Assist employees, new hires, and students with onboarding needs (equipment, ID cards, access), travel arrangements (accommodation, tickets, visas, business trip support), and offboarding (equipment returns).
- Office & Site Operations – Manage purchasing of office materials/equipment, coordinate internal/external post and transport with colleagues in Zagreb, distribute vouchers/contracts, and support OHS activities.
- Facilities & Maintenance Support – Report and follow up on issues related to furniture, printers, cleaning, non-working equipment, and contractor/maintenance visits.
- Administration & Communication – Support the Site Manager with internal/external correspondence, maintain distribution lists, handle copying/scanning/data entry, and ensure effective information sharing across units.
We are looking for:
- High school diploma
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Advanced organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Part-time availability (20 hours per week)
