We are looking for a 5G Telecom Systems Architect to join our team developing Ericsson’s industry-leading 5G radio products and solutions. You will become part of our team focusing on software architecture for control functions such as connection setup, mobility, load management, and traffic control. 

5G networks will enable scenarios such as driverless vehicles, remote surgery, and industrial automation by providing unmatched reliability, reduced latency, increased capacity, and improved Quality of Service (QoS). 

In this role, you will work in a multinational environment, learn something new every day, take initiative, and drive system and product evolution. 

Location: Zagreb, Osijek 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Analyze and understand customer requirements 
  • Develop high-level solutions and value-based arguments 
  • Prepare system specification documentation 
  • Support the development team during execution 
  • Monitor 3GPP standardization developments 
  • Assist Product Managers and Customer units in customer communications 

We are looking for:   

  • Strong abstract thinking abilities 
  • Experience in software development and/ or telecommunications is a plus 
  • Capability to design and propose system architectures 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English 
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering, computing, mathematics, or physics.
