We are looking for a 5G/6G System Verification Engineer to join our team that works on the development of Ericsson’s industry-leading radio access network products and solutions that connect the world. In this role, you will work in a multinational environment, learn something new every day, take initiative, propose, and drive improvements. 

Location: Zagreb 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Plan, develop, and execute software testing in both end-to-end Radio Access Networks and partially simulated environments. 
  • Debug and resolve functional failures in collaboration with design teams. 
  • Analyze new requirements and participate in creating test plans and assessing risks. 
  • Prepare node and network configurations for verification. 
  • Write test code for verification and continuous integration (e.g., Java, Python). 
  • Perform Integration & Verification test activities according to related test specifications. 
  • Track metrics such as defect rates and resolution times. 
  • Propose and drive improvements using the latest methodologies, tools, and technologies. 
  • Share knowledge and best practices across the team.

We are looking for:   

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field. 
  • Knowledge and interest in the Telecom – Radio Access Network area. 
  • Proficiency in Java for test automation purposes. 
  • Genuine interest in our area of work. 
  • Willingness for steep and continuous competence build-up. 
  • Ability to successfully collaborate with colleagues. 
  • Strong analytical thinking and focus on complex problem-solving. 
  • Comfort in an international work environment.
