October 16, 2026
Siniša Krajnović, PhD, President of the Management Board of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, accompanied by his colleagues, visited the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences of the University of Zagreb. During the visit, they met with the Faculty’s management and toured its facilities and laboratories. They also learned about the Faculty’s teaching and research activities.
As part of the visit, Siniša Krajnović gave a lecture on the new ENT2030 strategy and the competitiveness of Europe and Croatia in the global technology race.
In a discussion with students and faculty members, he emphasized the importance of a more ambitious approach to development and innovation. He highlighted that Europe must make greater use of its potential if it is to compete on an equal footing with the United States and China in an environment where success increasingly depends on technology, knowledge and the ability to turn ideas into concrete solutions.
Speaking about the changes shaping the technology sector, he presented Ericsson Nikola Tesla’s strategic direction until 2030. He placed particular emphasis on investing in knowledge, embracing new technologies and being ready for change as key prerequisites for future development.
The lecture also conveyed a clear message to young people. The future will be shaped not only by new technologies, but above all by the people who develop and apply them and turn them into value for the economy and society. This is precisely why ambition, initiative and continuous learning are important for anyone seeking to play an active role in technological and societal change.
