Siniša Krajnović on AI transformation, leadership and responsibility in an interview with “ICT na Ti”

Siniša Krajnović, PhD, President of the Management Board of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, spoke on the ICT na Ti program about his international career, his experience in leading large organizations and the changes that artificial intelligence is bringing to business and society.
A significant part of the interview focused on artificial intelligence and its impact on business and society. Siniša Krajnović believes that the changes brought about by AI could be among the most significant in human history and that this technology should be approached more seriously than the usual development cycles in the ICT industry.
He emphasized that, in the short term, it is important to intensively explore and use the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence, as it is already changing the way we work and creating new business opportunities. At the same time, its medium-term and long-term effects need to be considered far more thoughtfully and responsibly. He sees a particular challenge in the fact that AI is developing rapidly in a geopolitically divided world. This is why he stresses the importance of greater international cooperation and responsibility in the development of a technology whose social and economic effects could be far-reaching.
