The PMI Forum 2025, the central conference of the Project Management Association PMI Croatia, was held in Zagreb. With the motto “Value. Skills. People”, the association celebrated 20 years of work and project management as a value and as a skill, as well as people who are engaged in the profession of project management or use project management in their work.
The conference was opened by Gordan Krčelić, President of the Executive Board of PMI Croatia, and Tomasz Grochowski, PMI Regional Mentor.
In a lecture entitled Project Management: The C-Level Point of View, Siniša Krajnović, President of the Management Board of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, founder and first president of the Executive Board of PMI Croatia, said that he recognized the importance of quality project management already as a young engineer. He actively participated, with a group of enthusiasts, in the creation of the Croatian branch of the PMI organization. Krajnović used all the knowledge gained in this area in his rich international career, whether it was leading the Development Unit Networks, Ericsson’s global R&D organization with more than 15,000 engineers or his responsibility for the software and cloud service business in China, Japan and South Korea, markets at the forefront of innovation in telecommunication networks, and will continue to use them in leading the ENT team.
Siniša Krajnović emphasized: “Every company can gain a lot from quality project management, where the key is quality and professional planning based on understanding the tasks and capabilities of the organization or project team, risk management and its mitigation, as well as Stakeholder Management.”
He expressed his satisfaction with the development of PMI Croatia, highlighting excellent cooperation between ENT and PMI Croatia in promoting the culture and implementation of project management practices in Croatia. ENT has the largest membership in PMI Croatia with more than 60 members and a significant number of PMP certified experts (40+).
