Scientific conference on artificial intelligence and healthcare

The scientific conference Artificial Intelligence and Healthcare – Challenges and Potentials was held at the Catholic University of Croatia. It was attended by Mario Ravić who presented the EDIH AIHealth.Cro project in which our company is a partner.

Esteemed experts participated in this scientific conference held on 29 November, such as Assistant Prof. Klaudija Višković, MD, PhD, prim., Head of the Radiology and Ultrasound Diagnostics Department at the University Hospital for Infectious Diseases Dr. Fran Mihaljević, Assistant Prof. Tomislav Sokol, MD, PhD, Croatian Member of the European Parliament, Anita Bujanić, MSc. Pharm, Head of Health Hub, Hrvoje Belani, MSc. E.E., from the Sector for Implementation and Improvement of Information Systems of the Ministry of Health and Mario Ravić, MSc. E.E., Head of IoT & Digital Health at Ericsson Nikola Tesla. The presentations were followed by a panel discussion from medical, institutional, industrial and legal perspectives. The event also marked the conclusion of the Croatian Science Foundation’s (HrZZ) research project (New) Ethical and Social Challenges of Digital Technologies in the Healthcare Domain – Digit-HeaL, led by Associate Professor Ante Čartolovni, MD, PhD.

Mario Ravić introduced EDIH AIHealth.Cro and explained how this innovation hub supports new AI-driven healthcare solutions. He encouraged students to propose innovations and benefit from mentorship and guidance for future implementation.
