Role and importance of human resources in business management

At the recently held HRM by Numbers conference, organized by the platform Poslovna učinkovitost (Business Efficiency), which brought together numerous Croatian experts in the field of human resources management, Željko Antolić, Director of Human Resources at Ericsson Nikola Tesla, participated as a speaker in the panel Employee Engagement in Focus: Measurement, Motivation and Results.

The conference discussed, among other things, concrete tools, methods, as well as inspiring examples from practice of how HR functions can actively shape corporate strategy through numbers, metrics and analytics.

Željko Antolić emphasized the importance of digital transformation and the use of new technologies, especially artificial intelligence, for which he presented a concrete example of its use in analyzing the results of an internally conducted survey of employee satisfaction and engagement.
