Željko Antolić, Director of Human Resources at Ericsson Nikola Tesla, participated in the panel “Employers with a vision - how they shape the labor market in Croatia” where leading experts and representatives of renowned companies gathered to discuss key challenges and trends in the labor market.

During the dynamic discussion, the focus was on successful practices in managing employees, both internally and externally, which contribute to building the reputation and status of the most desirable employer in Croatia. There was also a discussion about adapting to market changes and employee expectations.
Ericsson Nikola Tesla continuously invests in employee development, flexible work models and a strong corporate culture that encourages innovation and cooperation. Antolić pointed out that opportunities for professional development, interpersonal relationships, and job security are key factors that attract and retain talent.
“Research shows that the most desirable employers are those that offer employees a clear development path and opportunities for advancement. At ENT, we are working to create a working environment in which our experts can grow, learn, and achieve their full potential through various educational programs, mentorships, and internal mobility,” emphasized Antolić.
Antolić pointed out that employees stay in the company when they feel a sense of purpose and when they are given an opportunity for continuous development. “Salary is not the the only factor here, but the overall work experience and the sense of belonging to an organization that recognizes their efforts,” he added.
One of the topics of the panel was work flexibility and how companies deal with post-pandemic changes. ENT adopted the hybrid work model which enables employees to have a better work-life balance.
“Employers are no longer the ones who choose employees, it’s the employees that choose their employer. The key strategy for remaining competitive is listening to employee needs and continuously adapting the work environment,” concluded Antolić.
