Lead.You business brunch with Siniša Krajnović

The new season of events organized by the Lead.You association was launched at Ericsson Nikola Tesla with a business brunch where association members and guests had the opportunity to discover a less formal side of Siniša Krajnović, PhD, President of the Management Board of Ericsson Nikola Tesla.

In a relaxed discussion, the President shared insights from his upbringing, education, international career and leadership journey, while also reflecting on topics that inspire him personally.

Recalling his high school years at Zagreb’s MIOC and his studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER), where he earned both his degree and doctorate, he emphasized the importance of critical thinking and an environment that encourages curiosity, questioning and a willingness to take on demanding challenges. It was precisely curiosity and a desire to experience different cultures that accompanied him throughout his life, from his earliest dreams of travel to living and working on several continents.

Speaking about leadership, he emphasized that the role of a leader is, above all, to establish a clear direction and a system of values, while empowering people to take responsibility and develop their potential. Regardless of one’s technical background, successfully leading people requires an understanding of emotions, the ability to build trust and an authentic relationship with the team.

Through this gathering and the experiences shared, we were once again reminded that behind successful careers there are most often curiosity, continuous learning and clear personal values.
