Jagoda Barać at Lider’s Export Conference: Competitiveness Is Built on Knowledge, Innovation and Technological Excellence

The conference, titled Smart Companies Understand the Value of Exports, brought together leading Croatian exporters, institutional representatives and industry experts to discuss the challenges and opportunities in export markets, including geopolitical developments, supply chain transformation, digitalization and the application of artificial intelligence in business.
Jagoda Barać, Member of Executive Management and Director of Sales and Marketing for Export Markets in Ericsson Nikola Tesla’s operator segment, participated in the conference panel Croatian Expertise – The Path to Higher Value-Added Exports, alongside Sergio Galošić, President of the Management Board of Amelicor Group, Boris Popović, President of the Management Board of Alarm Automatika, and Matt Darko Sertić, President of the Management Board of Applied Ceramics. Moderated by Gordana Gelenčer, the panel focused on how Croatian companies can create higher value-added products and services, build strong brands and capture more profitable market niches on the global stage.
Jagoda Barać emphasized that the long-term competitiveness of Croatian exporters must be founded on knowledge, innovation, technological excellence and the ability to deliver solutions that create added value for customers. Representing Ericsson Nikola Tesla, recently named Croatia’s Best Large Exporter for 2025, she highlighted the importance of continuous investment in people, technologies and international partnerships as key prerequisites for success in demanding export markets.
