This project, funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP 2021-2026), has been implemented since September 2021, and Ericsson Nikola Tesla d.d. participated in it through a contract for the upgrade of the information system.

“As part of the project, whose total value is almost EUR 3 million, a Land Database has been established for more than 60% of cadastral plots in the Republic of Croatia. This helps to achieve a more organized land registry, strengthens legal security and creates more favorable conditions for investments, as well as economic and social development,” said the Minister of Justice, Public Administration and Digital Transformation Damir Habijan.

The establishment of the Land Database (BZP) facilitates and accelerates the legal transaction of real estate, enables better control of the execution of public obligations, provides a more complete insight into state property and easier access to the funds of the European Union. At the same time, the project contributes to transparency and strengthening anti-corruption policies through more precise monitoring and verification of assets.

Additional upgrading of the Joint Information System of Land Registry and Cadaster (JIS) through this project has realized the technical prerequisites for further expansion of the BZP with the ultimate goal of covering 100% of cadastral plots.

“One of the important prerequisites for the success of this project was the cooperation of all the institutions which acted as one team and therefore enabled the realization of this complex and important project,” said the President of the Management Board of Ericsson Nikola Tesla d.d, Siniša Krajnović, PhD.

The participants were also presented with a virtual assistant which, from November 2024, enables citizens to obtain information on the status of their request, access real estate data, create official documents, and more easily use digital services of the land registry and cadastral system on the OSS Organised land portal.
