Ericsson Nikola Tesla Renews Its “Cycle-Friendly Employer” Certification

October 7, 2026

Ericsson Nikola Tesla has once again confirmed its status as an employer that actively promotes sustainable mobility by renewing its “Cycle-Friendly Employer” certification. This certification recognizes the company’s ongoing commitment to creating an environment that encourages both employees and visitors to use bicycles as a means of transportation.

In 2017, Ericsson Nikola Tesla was the first company in Croatia to receive this European certification. By providing appropriate cycling infrastructure and continuously investing in initiatives that promote bicycle mobility, we aim to set a positive example as an employer that contributes to the development of sustainable transportation and creating better conditions for cycling. Employees have access to bicycle parking facilities, repair tools for minor maintenance, and other benefits that support everyday cycling.

The certification renewal was marked during European Mobility Week with a free bicycle safety and maintenance check for employees, organized in cooperation with the Cyclists’ Union. During the event, experts inspected bicycles, carried out minor adjustments, and provided advice on safe riding, bicycle maintenance, and traffic regulations. A large number of our employees participated in the event, which demonstrates that cycling plays an important role in employees’ daily commute and that there is a clear interest in activities that contribute to safer and more enjoyable cycling experiences.

Regular cycling offers numerous benefits, ranging from improved health and reduced stress to less traffic congestion and lower CO₂ emissions. This is why we continue to develop initiatives that not only enable our employees to lead healthier, more sustainable, and more active lifestyles, but also contribute to a more pleasant and responsible working environment.
