Ericsson Nikola Tesla participated in the 15th Career Week organized by the Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI) in Varaždin. This year’s participation was marked by the signing of a cooperation agreement between Ericsson Nikola Tesla and the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, a discussion between the President of the Management Board of ENT and students on the future of IT industry and an opportunity to engage with students during the Walk through Careers.
The cooperation agreement was signed by the Dean of FOI, Prof. Renata Mekovec, PhD, and Siniša Krajnović, PhD, President of the Management Board of Ericsson Nikola Tesla. The agreement provides a framework for strengthening cooperation in education, research and development, as well as creating new opportunities for students and future professionals.
Siniša Krajnović, PhD, spoke before a full auditorium about the future of IT industry, the impact of artificial intelligence on software development and the competencies essential for a successful career during the FOI Fireside Chat, moderated by Prof. Nina Begičević Ređep, PhD. He emphasized the importance of fundamental knowledge, critical thinking, creativity and communication skills in a world of rapid technological change. He also shared experiences from his own career, highlighting the importance of lifelong learning, perseverance and setting personal professional goals.
Our representatives also participated in the traditional Walk through Careers, where they presented interested students with opportunities for student work, professional development and employment at Ericsson Nikola Tesla. In addition to discussions about technologies, projects and the day-to-day work of our teams, students had the opportunity to try their hand at the ENT Game and win company-branded gifts.
