ENT at MIPRO 2026
June 2, 2026
At the end of May, the 49th International MIPRO 2026 Conference was held in Opatija, once again bringing together numerous representatives from industry, academia and the public sector.
In addition to being one of the bronze sponsors, Ericsson Nikola Tesla actively participated in the conference program through multiple levels of contribution. We were involved in the work of program committees and in leading several expert sessions, thereby continuously contributing to the development of MIPRO’s professional and scientific program. We also contributed to the event’s with six scientific and professional papers submitted by members of our Group, among others.
Particularly noteworthy is the paper developed within the EU project Digiphy, QoE-driven Traffic Prioritization Model for XR Communication and Interaction Through a Dynamically Updated Digital Twin in Private 5G Networks, submitted by D. Zorić, T. Grgić, B. Pavelić Grbić, D. Kljajić, T. Rihtarec, and A. Grgurić. The paper focuses on the prioritization of XR and other communication types in private 5G networks, as implemented within the project. It will also be presented in the Inventorium during the DIGIPHY final event on 12 June, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., where project results will be demonstrated live.
As part of the official opening of MIPRO 2026, a roundtable on autonomous vehicles was held. Our colleague Damir Kljajić participated as a panelist, contributing insights related to communication infrastructure and its role in the development and safe deployment of autonomous vehicles.
The paper Quantum Technology in Physical Layer OSI Model, presented by our colleague Josip Bilandžić from Ericsson Nikola Tesla Servisi, explores the application of quantum technologies as a completely new approach to securing communication systems.
Through participation at MIPRO, Ericsson Nikola Tesla continues to reaffirm its role as a relevant stakeholder in the development of advanced ICT solutions and actively contributes to knowledge exchange between the industry and the scientific community.
