ENT at DUMP Days and TVZ Career Day

Ericsson Nikola Tesla once again participated at the DUMP Days conference, one of the biggest student IT events in the region. This year the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture (FESB) in Split once again brought together a large number of students, technology enthusiasts, and representatives of leading IT companies. During the two days of the conference, we had the opportunity to present the projects we work on, talk to students about career opportunities and share experiences of our experts during lectures and panel sessions.

ENT booth had no shortage of various activities. Visitors had the opportunity to experience first-hand a part of our technology solutions and hardware demonstrations that we traditionally present at student events. Moreover, the challenges and games we have prepared also attracted significant interest. Dev Challenge once again gathered students who wanted to test their programming skills, while the game Stack Wars attracted many enthusiasts of technology and strategic thinking.

The competition Race to the West was the highlight of the event, where the participants had the opportunity to win valuable awards. During both days of the conference, our team talked to students about the technologies we are developing, opportunities of employment and professional development, and many students showed interest in this year’s ENT Summer Camp. Visitors had the opportunity to talk to our employees directly and find out more about our projects and technologies, as well as what it is like to work at Ericsson Nikola Tesla.

Aljoša Mirčevski, development manager at Ericsson Nikola Tesla, held a lecture “Gen Z – how to lead a generation that does not want to be led?”, where he shared this experience of leading development teams and adjustments to the modern ways of working. Our colleague Luca Olivari participated in a panel discussion “What AI cannot do: skills that IT industry is looking for in 2026”. She shared with other participants the importance of human skills, cooperation and continuous learning, at a time when the use of artificial intelligence is gaining momentum.

In addition to Split, we also participated at the TVZ Career Day, where we provided students with an insight into Ericsson Nikola Tesla projects and career development opportunities. During the event, students showed strong interest in engaging with our team, as well as learning more about professional development options, student jobs and Summer Camp.

By participating in such events, we continue to strengthen our cooperation with the academic community and create opportunities to engage with students and future experts.
