CEZIH training

As part of the AI4Health.Cro Winter School, our expert Katarina Uradin held a training titled The Central Health Information System of the Republic of Croatia (CEZIH). The training was attended by participants from the Ministry of Health and health institutions, including hospitals and health centers.
During the presentation, Katarina showed the participants how the national healthcare system CEZIH works, with a special emphasis on key eHealth functionalities such as ePrescriptions, eReferrals, eHealth record and the Health Portal. Particular attention was paid to the application of global standards HL7 and FHIR in interoperability, secure data exchange, and further development of CEZIH in accordance with the requirements of the European Health Data Space (EHDS).
Participants expressed great interest in the analytical potential of data generated daily through CEZIH, which confirms the importance of continuous modernization of the national health information infrastructure. ENT continuously works on digital healthcare in line with its long-standing strategic commitment to developing innovative ICT solutions for the Croatian healthcare system.
