AI4Health.Cro continues after the successful completion of its first three years

AI4Health.Cro serves as a one-stop shop for the development of digital healthcare solutions, providing training, test-before-invest services and advisory support to companies and public institutions. Over the past three years, more than 2,000 services have been delivered, and around 100 test-before-invest activities have been carried out.

A multidisciplinary team of experts from ENT contributed by delivering training and advisory services, as well as participating in activities focused on the application of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in healthcare.

At the closing conference, the company was represented by Mario Ravić, Petar Cota and Zrinka Potočanec, who took part as a panelist in the discussion Turning Health Data into an Innovation Engine.
Additional contributions to this field were made by Mario Ravić and Zrinka Potočanec through their work in the project’s Data Working Group, which organized three innovation challenges. One of the key topics of the project was the secondary use of health data. Through three innovation challenges, work with real anonymized health data was piloted in a controlled environment, and a secure processing environment model for such activities was developed, contributing to preparations for the future implementation of the European Health Data Space (EHDS).

Following the completion of the project’s first phase, AI4Health.Cro, as well as ENT’s involvement within the project, will continue into the next three-year period thanks to new European Union funding under the Digital Europe Programme. Under the new AI4Health.Cro2 project, the objective remains unchanged: to accelerate the development and deployment of digital and AI solutions that can enhance the healthcare system and improve the quality of healthcare delivery.
