We are looking for a Support Engineer who will act as a key link between users and our HIS solution, contributing to operational support, incident resolution, and continuous service improvement. You will join a team focused on developing and supporting advanced healthcare solutions, with a strong emphasis on our Hospital Information System (HIS). The team works closely with hospital IT departments and medical staff to ensure reliable system performance and high-quality user experience.
Location: Zagreb
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide 1st and 2nd level support to users of the Hospital Information System
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve incidents and user requests
- Communicate with medical staff and hospital IT teams
- Participate in testing, implementation, and upgrades of the HIS solution
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify issues
- Document incidents, resolutions, and user guidelines
- Escalate more complex issues to the development team
We are looking for:
- University or bachelor’s degree in a technical field (computer science, IT, electrical engineering, or similar)
- Experience in IT support (experience with healthcare systems is an advantage)
- Basic knowledge of databases (SQL)
- Understanding of IT systems and network infrastructure
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate with diverse user groups
Would be considered a plus:
- Experience working with hospital or healthcare information systems
- Experience delivering training to larger groups of users
- Knowledge of ITIL principles or experience working with ticketing systems
- Basic understanding of HL7 standards or healthcare system integrations
- Experience with application servers and log analysis
