Our Enterprise IT unit is currently seeking an IT Security Specialist who is passionate about building and automating solutions to defend against evolving cyber threats. In this role, you will design and implement security measures to protect critical systems and networks, automate key processes, and develop dashboards and reports to monitor cybersecurity health. You will play a vital role in ensuring our platforms and business operations remain secure and resilient.
Location: Zagreb
What you’ll be doing:
- Secure network and cloud infrastructure
- Safeguard information system assets and solve security problems
- Define access privileges
- Identify breaches and report non-conformities
- React promptly to reported events and incidents
- Implement security improvements, evaluate new trends in security and respective technologies, suggest future needs and requirements
- Report security violations and vulnerabilities through regular assessments
- Upgrade ICT systems and maintain security controls
- Report system status to management
- Stay up to date with technical knowledge
We are looking for:
- University Degree in the ICT field
- At least one security-related certificate (e.g., CEH, Security+, CISSP, SANS)
- Ability to understand and analyze complex issues and identify root causes
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
Would be considered a plus:
- 2+ years of experience in security operations
- Knowledge of Security standards: ISO27001, NIST, OWASP
- Experience with systems commonly used in a Security Operations Centre (e.g., logging, SIEM, EDR, IDS)
- Experience with Vulnerability Assessment tool(s)
- Experience with monitoring systems
- Familiarity with open-source technologies
