Our BSS/OSS service delivery team is looking for DevOps Engineer who can contribute to create automation around the delivery solution using a wide variety of open source technology and tools. DevOps engineers shall support DevOps architect in automating the solution delivery and assist in aligning the automation with the delivery processes and solution design to achieve the optimal outcome focusing on time, cost, and quality. As a DevOps Engineers you should strive to develop adjacent skills and drive a continuous learning culture by sharing and promoting new ideas, approaches, and patterns across the delivery teams, while seeking opportunities to teach others how to use the tools and promote a culture of automation.
Location: Zagreb
What you’ll be doing:
- Support presales activities, including pre-studies
- Analyze the customer needs and recommend appropriate DevOps solutions based on predefined strategy.
- Develop new and amended Software programs, database, data and scripts and Develop automation utilizing DevOps toolset
- Provide guidance and coaching to junior DevOps engineers
- Designing and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Managing cloud infrastructure
- Integrating DevSecOps practices
We are looking for:
- 2+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer
- Previous development or operations experience
- Knowledge of Linux operating system
- Knowledge of source code management (Git)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD and/or GitHub Actions
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with any public cloud (AWS and Azure preferred)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or OpenTofu
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Ability to cooperate in a global environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Analytical mindset and ability to follow processes and work independently
Would be considered a plus:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (IT, Telecom)
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Experience with DevSecOps tools (e.g. Keycloak, TLS certificate handling, Prometheus, Grafana, Vault, Logstash, Open Search)
- Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL)
