Ericsson Nikola Tesla Technology Days 2024

Ericsson Nikola Tesla Technology Days 2023

It is an opportunity for participants to get an insight into the diverse possibilities that the most advanced technologies provide us, along with information on global technology trends and innovative solutions created by Ericsson Nikola Tesla.

We present not only Ericsson’s latest 5G hardware and software, in the development of which Ericsson Nikola Tesla experts participate, as well as in numerous other projects for the global corporation Ericsson, but ENT solutions based on state-of-the-art technologies such as 5G, AI, XR, Big Data, IoT, including technological solutions intended to support and meet the increasing demands for environmental sustainability of the industry.

This year, special emphasis will be placed on the presentation of solutions for the needs of mission critical communication in segments such as public safety, defense, rail transport and digitalization of air transport.

Visitors have the opportunity to personally experience the benefits of technology in one of the attractive demos developed for this occasion by company experts.

Previous events made it possible for visitors to see, among other things, Ericsson’s 5G RAN hardware and software, developed in part by Ericsson Nikola Tesla experts, learn about the possibilities offered by 5G private networks, find out more about 5G network monetization based on four different levels of network performance, and gain insight into the development of operational and business support systems. The possibilities of 5G for providing new experiences to users were demonstrated through a football demo in which viewers can follow the match from different angles or rewind the parts played. There were also examples of open network APIs which allow application developers to create new use cases.

AI is used in solutions and research by the company’s experts for support in fire protection, intelligent transport management, finding answers based on navigating through large amounts of text such as numerous laws, regulations, instructions, and achieving greater energy efficiency. Ericsson Nikola Tesla’s digital platform eEnvironment was also presented. It is intended for better monitoring of the environmental footprint, which, among other things, supports non-financial reporting requirements regarding sustainability (ESG).
Visitors were particularly attracted to the demos developed in the company, thanks to which they could try out the 5G experience of driving a racing car, controlling a robotic vehicle, and virtual reality content management from a computer screen and warehouse management.
