Infrastructure Cadaster Information System and Single Information Point
In August 2020, Ericsson Nikola Tesla d.d. successfully completed the project Services for the Development of an Applicative Solution and Implementation of Infrastructure Cadaster Information System and Single Information Point for the State Geodetic Administration (SGA).
Before the launch of this project of national significance, local self-government units were responsible for establishing and managing infrastructure cadasters and only six out of 576 of them had established infrastructure cadasters. The establishment of a single infrastructure cadaster system for the whole of Croatia and ensuring the availability of data on existing infrastructure and ongoing or planned construction works through the Single Information Point ensure the following important benefits:
- increasing the use of the existing infrastructure,
- reducing costs and removing obstacles when performing new construction works,
- reducing costs caused by direct and indirect damages during the execution of works and
- sharing infrastructure data digitally to all users who need infrastructure data in their business processes.
Ericsson Nikola Tesla d.d. worked on this project for a little less than two years, in cooperation with the team from IGEA d.o.o., a member of the IN2 Group. The project brought together expert knowledge in the domain of GIS, databases and web applications, geodesy, cadaster processes and ways of managing the infrastructure cadaster. Also, integration with as many as 10 external systems was done.
The system consists of a public and a private part. The public part (Single Information Point) is intended for access by registered and unregistered users, while the private part of the infrastructure cadaster system is intended primarily for SGA employees who work within the system according to the created infrastructure cadaster business processes.
